Acclaimed local singing groups Mendip Folk Choir and shanty group High & Dry are once again joining forces for a concert of seasonal folk songs and sea shanties.  
Sunday 15th December, Cheddar Baptist Church, Lower North Street, 4:30pm – 7:00pm. Tickets £7. Children under 14 free.
Enjoy a glass of mulled wine, coffee/cake (cash donations please). Money raised will go to The Space.

RAFA-MSB Christmas Lunch will be on Saturday 14th December at 12:15pm in Wells Golf Club, Blackheath Lane, Wells, BA5 3DS. This will be a Formal Christmas Lunch with drinks on arrival, a two/three Course lunch with choices, coffee, port for Loyal Toast. RAFA-MSB covers BS25, BS26, BS27, BS28, BA4, BA5, BA6, BA16, TA10 & TA11 postal areas. RAFA Members, Current and Ex-RAF Personnel and Reserves, Current and Ex-Commonwealth Air Forces Personnel, Members of the RAF Family and Members of public supporting RAFA welcome.

The third RNLI Winscombe Branch Reindeer Run will be at 2:00 pm (Registration from 1:00pm) on Sunday 8th December at

Axbridge Trefoil Guild are celebrating Christmas.
On December 10th we will have our annual Christmas lunch at the Lamb at Weare with Secret Santa, then on December 12th there is Somerset Trefoil Guild’ County Carol Service  at Rowbarton Methodist Church, Taunton at 2:00pm. Taunton station is only a short walk away. There is also a car park nearby. The Church will be open from 12:30pm until 4:00pm and there will be tea and cake afterwards.
Newcomers to all events are welcome.

On Friday 6th December from 6:00pm there will be Festive Fun with the church dressed up for Christmas. Come and take family photos around our manger scene, there will be children’s activities, mince pies, fruit punch, hot drinks and, at 7:00pm, Cheddar Valley Singers will be bringing a special treat with all your favourite festive songs.
Whether it’s Cheddar Festive Night or not – we shall still be open. Come and join us.
