Sing2breathe at Cheddar Catholic Community Hall

Sing2breathe aims to improve breathing and posture through singing and vocal exercises.  Aimed at those with lung conditions, the weekly sessions are receiving overwhelming positive feedback. Singing Leader Kate Lynch comments that “it’s not about being a great singer, it’s about using singing to help you breath better.”

The group are supported by Wedmore & Axbridge Community Health Fund and meet on Wednesday afternoons at Cheddar Catholic Community Hall.

Mah-Jong at The Shipham Inn

The Shipham Inn (Somerset – BS25 1TW) would like to welcome new people to join their regular Mah-Jong Group. Whether you’re a novice, experienced Mah-Jong player or someone who would like to learn to play a warm welcome awaits. My hope is that we can make these enjoyable, social evenings playing a game that originated in the Far East.

This dynamic, choreographed class is designed for people over 55. Held at Cheddar Village Hall, Church Street, BS27 3RL, Tuesdays at 2:00pm, £6. This class is a great way to improve your general fitness, have fun, and meet new people, why not come along and try it?
