RNLI Winscombe & District Branch will hold its Annual Super Quiz at 7:00pm on Saturday 1st February in Shipham Village Hall, New Road, Winscombe BS25 1SG. The Quiz will be for teams of six and will include the usual “Mega Ploughman’s Supper”, a bar (Beers, Ciders, Wines & Soft Drinks) and a prize raffle. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the Quiz will begin at 7:30pm.

‘The Bereavement Journey’ course runs weekly for 7 weeks, starting on Wednesday 15th January from 2:00pm – 4:15pm at Christchurch, Clevedon, BS21 7LL.
By means of films and discussion groups, this course gently guides bereaved people through the most common aspects of grief, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern next steps. To join, please sign up via the Christchurch website.
Save the Children lunches will be served in Shipham Village Hall on Friday 10th and 24th January at 12:30pm. ALL WELCOME to come and join us for soup, bread and cheese, pickle, homemade biscuits, tea or coffee for £5.50. Pay at the door. Plenty of free parking.
